Confusing love.

Chess was hiding in the shadows and watching at Rebel.
He couldn’t understand why he feels like that to her. It reminded him about how he felt for Amy and how he fell in love with her. He felt like he was betraying Amy by doing that.
He went away from his looking spot and wandered around for a while.
Finally he found a bench and sat there and it began to rain. The rain made him wet and cold.
But he didn’t notice that because he was thinking about his long dead wife Amy and his.. new girlfriend Rebel.
Chess: “Amy. I know I promise you to not be alone. But please understand me. I feel I am not ready to let you go. But I love.. Rebel so much.”
Chess looked up in the sky still ignoring the rain and just sat like that in long time.
“Amy.. I remember the time before. Our sight to the sea just about 1 year before the war stopped and we won. You looked in my eyes with tears in your eyes and told me to promise you to find a new girlfriend if you died. Because you didn’t want me be lonely. I thought it was weird that you asked me to promise that but I would do anything for you so I promised that. I never forget your smile when I promised that. It was the most beautifulest smile I ever had seen. I didn’t know that would be your last!”
Chess felt his tears roll down of his cheek and it merged with the rain. He thought he should scream but didn’t do that.
“Damn. You knew you should die that night right? The demons attacked us and killed you. I saw you die and will always remember that so long I live! I only remember that I went berserk and killed them all.. and how I cried in long time when I held your body in my arms and felt you getting cold.”
He shook his head in a try to get ride of bad memories but it didn’t work.
“Damn. Since your dead I couldn’t feel anything but anger and hate because of that I was also feared of friends because I took dangerous mission that noone would survive. One of them told me that I have dead eyes even I was with them. I guess that a part of me died with you Amy. I never thought that I will feel anymore unto that day we won the war. But Crush didn’t think it was enough and wanted to change the past even it perhaps was in vain. But he asked us anyway to go back in the past to prevent the tragedy. I was only one who wanted to go back. And why not? I had nothing to lose. Now I’m here and found out that I still have feeling which I thought was lost forever! Rebel..”
He bowed his head while the rain became worse but again he didn’t care about that..
“Amy. Rebel reminds me about you. So friendly and so free. And she didn’t feel that I was cold. It is.. confusing. But she did comport me when I was sad. She is like a dream so comporting and so nice to me. She does remind me about you Amy.. I wish you could give me a sign that I should go on and accept that.”
Suddenly the rain stopped and the clouds disappeared. The sun was shining on him and dried him and he soon was complete dried and he was confused about that.
“Eh? I supposed it means yes. You are right Amy. It is time to go on and live again. But I will always love you. Goodbye Amy.”
He stood up and looked at the sky while he was smiling.
“Thank you. I need that. Love is very confusing but now I know what to do.”
Chess smiled and for the first time in long time he felt hope...
