Jack’s journal.

Pristine: Welcome back my friends. This time we are not visiting a world this time... but I have this instead.
She holds a paper in her hand.
Pristine: this is Jacko’s journal from another world where it is infected of zombies. I will read it for you.
She begins to speak with a calm and steady voice.


To them who reads this:

I am Jacko Lantern the immortal escaper from hell the boyfriend to Iron and the father to Audry.
I am also one of the few living being in this world or at least the one who doesn’t think of to eat people. Damn.. I still can’t believe it happened for lesser one year ago.
I was at my “work” with some fools when it happened. A zombie, yes I call them zombies because anyone is called them that, suddenly showed up and bite one of these fool I was working on. I couldn’t believe my eyes when this fool suddenly changed slowly into a zombie. He was staring at me like I was food. He bite me and I was pissed off and killed him and the zombie too. But they kept to attacking me so I smashed them in head instead. Iron would have been proud that I have improved in strength if she was not one of them.
I was at first worried but nothing happened but just abit itching in my hand that disappeared soon.
My hand healed up fast as it should do. I went outside and saw everything was in chaos. People were running away from the zombies that ran just so fast as their victims.. These who claimed that zombies are slow.. He was an idiot.. And for sure a zombie too.
But someone fought back but it also surprised me that some of zombie used weapons like a metal pipe and wood sticks and beat their victim before eating them.
So they weren’t brain-dead too. They still can think and using it to trick the living in their trap and something like that.. But besides it they only think of to eat the living flesh more than anything in this world. And they don’t FEEL any pains. I slashed a zombie’s arm off but it didn’t care and was just swearing at me and attacked me. No need to say I killed that idiotic zombie.
It is a true nightmare.. Almost everyone got infected even the undead like Silvernova, Hush and B.Razor. If you think a normal zombie is scary then you should see Silvernova as a zombie! That is a sight you don’t want to see again..
Iron and Audry got infected too.. It was horrible to see them eating flesh at living being.. Audry didn’t get bitten but some blood from a zombie hit her eyes and mouth.. And then she became a zombie too. It is one of my worst nightmares.. But I had to deal with it now.  I am keeping them here and make sure of that they aren’t rotting up like the rest of zombies (I am healing them and fixing them for damages).
It is so frustrated but I still love them and will always do that. I will do anything for them so I kill for them in order to give them food.
So every day I go out and kill zombies to make sure of that the survivors can escape to a safe place... that I know where it is.
And I even taught Iron to kill other zombies after I explained to her that if everyone is zombie... there will no more food left for her and Audry. She got mad and killed a lot of zombies already. Mass murderer when she was alive and still is mass murderer of her kind. So nice to know she still has it. I have to take Audry’s scythe away and fusion it with my own to prevent her from taking too much victims here at us... but right now she is building a machine that will teleport the victims from other place on this planet. It feels good that she still is able to build machines.
Too bad all she thinks of is eating living flesh. I still don’t know how the virus works. But it seems to affect anyone with a brain living and undead. It doesn’t affect me because my brain is very different from the others... it is at least my theory... I got bitten many times but never changed into a zombie... but anyway they don’t get tired, they don’t die from deadly wounds and seems not care about it, they only can be killed if you damage their brain complete or just serve their head off.

Normal zombies are bad enough but zombies like Crush, Titan, Inferno, Havoc and Silvernova.. They are really bad news and are really hard to kill. But Iron told me that Silvernova died in a combat with Kaoz after they exploded together and there were nothing left of them but ashes. So two problems lesser in the world. But I asked Iron to kill off the normal zombies to prevent her getting killed. I will take care of these super zombies later because they can wipe out the remaining survivors in short time if they don’t get stopped.

I taught Iron to NOT kill the people but leave them alone because I can get food for her. She did do what I asked her to do. She is a good killing machine even she is a zombie so it is nice to see that she didn’t lost her touch. But I have to heal her pretty often. Sometimes she is missing an arm. Once she came home with only half of her body. Zombies are really bad to take care of themselves... sigh. I need to teach her to be more careful.
Damn I am not crazy about to should kill them... they are pretty strong but it has to be done soon.
Well I just heard Audry finished her machine so I am going to check on it right now.
Hmm. She had done well... it did teleport two victims to here but they are not from this world. But Iron and Audry didn’t care. They just attacked them and ate them... damn I never get used to see them eating like this... it is disgusting. After their feeding. Iron wanted more but I have to stop her because they have enough for now. She was almost attacking me but she didn’t. She realized that I was right and I have to heal them again! Their stomach busted again. I don’t understand how this hunger works but it makes them eat too much. But when they aren’t hungry they can think clearly again. Audry was sad and just went in her room to think what to do. Iron didn’t care about what she has done but she hated to be a zombie. And she even asked me to cure her and Audry but I did try to do that but it didn’t work.. Even the magic can’t remove it but perhaps the science could do that? Audry is my only hope for that she is the smartest one I know. But sadly she is a zombie herself.. So the chances for that are slim.
I was checking on that machine and found out that it did teleport but from other worlds that look like out but with some different big or small. These victims they ate.. I think I have heard of their species.. Humans yes they were called like that. I search though their clothes and found some id-cards and like... this one was called Richard Simmons... and the other one was a man with some weird name that I can’t say without breaking my tongue.

Well after talking with Iron about our plan to kill off the other zombies I am back to write this journal.
Audry, Iron and I have made a place for the survivors so they are safe from zombies and killers. Audry build the robots that protect the place while Iron was looking for the weak spot in the defending so it could be fixed.
I made a force shield that will keep the zombies away. I am not doing that for saving them but to have enough food for my dear family. But now thanks to the machine it is no longer actual but we keep to kill the zombies anyway because they are REALLY annoying with their moaning and begging for food. I will really enjoy to slay them all expect Iron and Audry... we will find a cure for them... somehow. Luckily I have a lot of time.
Well I better write a list about them that I know who is still alive.

Tulip and Zafire are still alive and they managed to avoid the attack because they were sailing. Zombies are smart but they don’t like to swim... so far I know.
Chess and his daughter Rita are also alive and it seems to that both of them are immune to the virus. I believe it is because of Chess isn’t from this time but from future... Rita well... I don’t know how she got immune but Hel, Kelly and Anne died and Rebel got shot of Chess because she was a zombie and ate her own children.. It must be horrible for Chess and Rita right now. But I don’t care about them and they are living in that place we made.
Pushy and her children survived and escaped from Havoc after help from Chess. They are also at the place.
Sporty and Nixie are on the ocean where they are safe.
Redrobe is alive with his zombie wife Mirage who he keeps in a cage to prevent her from getting killed and eat him. The fate of his children is unknown.
He is also on ocean and seeking for the cure for zombie virus. I wonder when he is done.
Quilly is also now at the place after I found him badly hurt from a fall. He is a brave one and I admire that he still wanted to fight even he had broken almost every bones in his body. Luckily for him that I came first before the zombies did. I just zapped him so he was fine and then I teleported him to the place.
Fresko. Well he lives at the place too and I think he is planning to seek out who made the virus and he perhaps wants to make a team for this purpose. Perhaps Quilly and Chess will join? We all want to get that bastard. But anyway I think the creator died somehow.
Nightmare and Large are at the place after the loss of Jubilant and Web. The rumours say that Nightmare got a breakdown and is passive. Large seems to be in a kind of coma. But I don’t care much about them.
Skatey.. Well Iron’s friend he is still out there and killing zombies because he wants revenge for his dead girlfriend. He got never bitten of zombies... impressing.

I think there are more of them but I don’t remember them all... but most of the survivors are at the ocean because zombies don’t want to swim in water. I never had seen a zombie show up from a lake or beach. I think it is too cold for them to move around or it could be the fishes that eat them? I don’t know. I once asked Iron about that... but she didn’t know that expect that she didn’t want to go near a lake... Strange I think... so zombies do fear something and the survivors know that and use it to their advantage.
Well... now I think I have written enough for today... perhaps I will write in this if the zombie problem is solved... I really hope for this to happen because of Iron and Audry.
I keep this hope to keep my sanity.

Pristine puts the paper on a table and looks up.
“Poor Jacko. Now you know what happened to this world and got perhaps a hint what might happen there in their future. They keep their hope up to get ride of zombies. Hope sounds like a simple word but it is more just a word. It also keeps us going. Without it.. We are no better than these zombies.”
She looks a portal and nods to us. “I have to go now. I have a job that must be done. I hope we meet again my friends.”
She goes in the portal and it closes behind us.
